Random Thoughts - Monday Edition

>> Monday, March 22, 2010

Is it me? Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one talking and no one is listening. What makes it worse is when hubby looks at me and says, "Huh?" Yeah, you're not winning points there mister.

*********************************

I can't believe I went a whole 4 days without having one of the dogs poop or puke on the kitchen floor!

**********************************

Two really beautiful days + two days in the park and zoo + two very tired girls = one very happy mommy

**********************************

I have the best MOPS mommy friends in the world. We spent one morning at the park, another half day at the zoo, and then our regular MOPS meeting. It was the best time and just the medicine that mommy needed!

**********************************

Yes, I'll admit it - I'm a fan of Gene Simmons Family Jewels.  LIke The Bachelor, it's a train wreck that I can't turn away from.  I love his kids -- full of sarcasm and humor.

**********************************

Hubby and I watched "Bachelor Party" the other night. It's hard to believe that the same man who played in this movie is the same man who played Forrest Gump and had a string of absolutely FANTASTIC movies! (Can you tell I'm a big Tom Hanks fan)

**********************************

Zoja is at it again. This time she ate the ass out of a pair of My Marine's underwear.

**********************************

I didn't ever have to worry about Nani coloring on the walls or furniture.....Nudgie, not so much

**********************************

My Marine came home from work and was telling me how someone he knew signed up for eHarmony......and had a huge blow struck to his ego when even eHarmony couldn't find a match for him.  That makes me laugh and so sad at the same time.

Oops, on the wall and window drawing. I never had to worry about that with my three, but my oldest did love to draw on herself alot - I think it was the omen of the make-up she would one say apply.

Love it! I think it's all part of that Mommy brain syndrome, where what was once a logical, organized mind becomes akin to scrambled eggs. I suffer from random thoughts all the time too - and my husband also looks at me as if to say "what - and your point is???" Well the point is, as you describe it, recognizing all the wonderful, funny, and sometimes not so funny things (like coloring the walls!) that happen in your life and appreciating it all as life goes by so fast.

My #1 -- never had to worry about her doing anything anywhere that she wasn't supposed to. My #2 -- have to worry all the time about her doing everything everywehre that she isn't supposed to. ;-)

That "huh?" from the husband sure is frustrating, lol!

We have crayon marks all over from my youngest granddaughter. Part of me thinks I should tackle them with a Magic Eraser. But on the other hand the marks remind me to think about and pray for those precious babies so they're still there!

LOL @ eharmony! That is sad!

I love, love, love Family Jewels!!!! I don't know why but it's probably because you would never think they'd be such a cool, down to earth family but they are. Gene Simmons is so cute as a protective dad, even though he plays a demon in the band. Wierd, huh?

So your dog didn't puke up the Marine's underwear yet? You know you probably just jinxed yourself, right?

I can't believe eHarmony couldn't find a match for that guy. Wow, that's sad...I can't stop laughing though.

I hear ya on the whole listening thing. For real. My hubby never earns points on that front, and my two year old is even worse! Oh yeah, and our cat that pukes and poops everywhere? He doesn't listen either. Maybe that's why I blog...
