On Monday we had a snow day. FINALLY! Lots and lots of snow! It had started Sunday morning and went all day and all night. About 9 inches when it was all over. So, on our snow day, we did a little school work and some crafts, but I wanted to share this one first.
For our morning story, we read "The Paper Princess" by Elisa Kleven. It's a very adorable story about the adventures of a paper doll. It's a very cute story - which we read at least three times that day!
As a tie-in to the story, I thought it would be fun to make paper doll chains with the girls.

That book looks fun, and I love paper dolls!
We're getting a BIG snowstorm today - I think we may already be at 9 inches, and it's still coming down fast!
Looks like fun! :-)
