Summer Reading Chart

Just popping in for a few to share our Summer Reading Chart!
I found these cute puzzle borders and puzzle pieces at our local teacher/homeschooling store, "Beyond The Blackboard." LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that store!!!
Our theme is "Books are the Puzzle Pieces to our Imagination!" As the girls read a book, we'll write it down on the puzzle pieces and put the on our chart. And since Nudgie has recently discovered a love for puzzles, she's very excited about this challenge. Nani just loves to read....so any chance she gets to read is good for her! In fact, when I asked her what our goal is for reading, she shouted, "1000 books!"
She cracks me up!
After giggling hysterically, she settled on 75 books total (for her and Nudgie). If they reach that goal, then it's off to Barnes & Noble we go!
Are you participating in any reading challenges this summer?

What a cute reading challenge! We are still deciding what we want to do for summer reading :)
I just made my 6 year old a reading chart for the summer to keep up with reading. Next week our public library starts their summer reading program so we will be sure to join in on that! I love your puzzle theme, that is very creative!
We do our local library and B&N challenge. It's not much of a challenge for my daughter, since her personal goal is 100 books this summer :)
